This section is devoted to the images of the "La Jeune Fille, French for the "Young Women".  Again, my subject is purely feminine, youthful, and innocent.  I try to capture the essence of the emerging  "butterfly from the chrysalis" That brief period of time where by a young girl is transformed into a young woman. Distant, learning, dreaming, pondering the changes in her life that are happening minute by minute. 

About the Images

I have been greatly inspired by the photographic works of David Hamilton. His Photos are like paintings on paper.  His images are haunting, in that they capture a brief glimpse, like a flickering candle flame, of la juene fille. 

   Time and gravity affects us all. Like Photographers, Artists attempt to freeze time, to create a momentary glimpse into the life of a subject, for all eternity to enjoy.
