Michael Angelo Longo - Artist

This series was inspired by a dream.  A dream, in metaphor,  about the emergence and growth of the young girl into a young woman. The eight painting  series or story, follows one girls journey into womanhood.  Intended to be shown together, and not split up, I have yet to locate the right  Gallery that will befit this exhibit. Again, as in many of my other works, I use the two themes of water and forest.  Water, being elemental to purity, rebirth,  and tranquility.  And the forest, which is symbolic of the inner soul's innocence, and protection from corruption.
